A PERFECT CIRCLE, NINE INCH NAILS Drummer Issuing New Solo Album
February 18, 2009According to The Pulse of Radio, drummer Josh Freese, who has toured and recorded as a member of A PERFECT CIRCLE and NINE INCH NAILS in addition to playing on hundreds of other records, will release a new solo album called "Since 1972" this spring. The disc will be available digitally at JoshFreese.com starting on March 24, with a physical CD arriving in stores on April 14. Freese sings and plays almost all the instruments on the record, which follows up his 2000 solo outing "The Notorious One Man Orgy".
Freese recently completed a three-year stint as the drummer for NINE INCH NAILS, departing the band at the end of 2008.
He also recorded three albums with A PERFECT CIRCLE and toured with that outfit, and was a member of GUNS N' ROSES for a brief period.
Freese is one of the music industry's most in-demand session drummers, having played on dozens albums by the likes of EVANESCENCE, STAIND, THE OFFSPRING, PUDDLE OF MUDD, DEVO, STING, and many more.
